Underground Drilling Services & Trenchless Pipe Laying
Directional Drilling
The installation of pipes and ducts (usually made of polyethylene). As the name suggests, directional drilling makes it possible to steer the bore underground. Pipes from 25mm to 500mm diameter and lengths up to 200m can be installed.
Thrust Bore Moling
Also known as Impact Moling, for the installation of pipes and conduits up to 150mm diameter and 20m in length.
Pipe Bursting
Renewal of existing pipes along the same path. The replacement of underground pipes from 100mm to 500mm diameter and up to 200m in the length are possible.
Pipe Ramming
Installation of steel tubes which may be used either as a duct for another service or as the carrier pipe itself. Tubes from 100mm to 1500mm diameter and lengths up to 70m can be installed.
Guided Auger Boring
Also known as Auger Drilling, for the installation of either clay jacking pipes or steel tube where a high degree of accuracy is required or access is limited, typically used for gravity fall sewers but may be used for any service crossing. Pipes from 150mm to 750mm diameter and up to 70m in length are possible with an accuracy better than +/- 20mm.
Supply and Welding of Polyethylene Underground Pipes
We supply PE pipes and ducts for water, gas, electric, telecom etc in either coils or straight lengths. We are able to butt fuse lengths together and electro-fuse fittings to the pipework.
We are one of the UK's leading directional drilling companies offering trenchless technology throughout England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland. For more information or for a quote, please call 01245 381024 or email us.
